Study: Violoncello in Dresden, Karlsruhe and at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Christophe Coin as well as musicology at the University of Technology of Dresden.

Concerts: first cooperation with the dancer Thomas Hartmann and the actor Rolf Hoppe, then soloist's broad appearances in Bologna, Buenos Aires, New York, Porto, Pulsnitz etc.

Research subjects: Myth Stradivari. Provenance searches among other things to the Dresden silver trumpets. 2011-16 scientific employees, since 2017 Professor for Ancient Music of the college for Music in Dresden. Talks in Bern, Rome, Salzburg etc.
